Specialist Degrees
Single degrees specialising in a particular area.
They have compulsory units most of which are from the same area of study. For example, in the Bachelor of Music, 22 out of 24 units are music electives.
Double Degrees
Two degrees taken at the same time. Arts degrees can be combined with law, business, science, social work, information technology, visual arts, music, education or engineering.
Takes between 4-5 or more years full time and up to 10 years part time.
16 units from Arts and 16 or more from the other degree.
Diploma
Eight units taken alongside your Arts degree. Students usually complete the diploma over 3 – 4 years by overloading, i.e taking 5 units per semester or by taking one less subject in their degree and a diploma subject.
